Mazda MX-5 by BBR

BBR has introduced their new Super 200 package for the Mazda MX-5.

Design for 2005-2014 models equipped with a naturally-aspirated 2.0-liter engine, the package includes a high-flow air filter, a stainless steel exhaust manifold, high performance camshafts and an optimized ECU.  The engine develops 201 HP and 166 lb-ft of torque – an increase of 43 bhp and 19 lb-ft with these modifications.

According to BBR’s Neil McKay, “BBR knows that the Mazda MX-5 owners community is a broad church and not everyone wanted the supercar style performance of our highly successful turbocharged upgrades. Therefore we decided to develop a package that built upon our entry level Super 175 and 180 upgrades by incorporating exclusive BBR hardware and further electronic development to deliver the first genuine 200 HP normally aspirated conversion to an eager Mazda performance aftermarket, whilst being designed for everyday use and offering exceptional value for money.”
