GeigerCars has introduced a new tuning program for the Chevrolet Camaro Z/28.
Named the Geiger Camaro Z/28, the car has been equipped with a performance package which enables the 7.0-liter V8 engine to produce 620 HP and 534 lb-ft of torque. That is a increase of 108 HP and 53 lb-ft. The company declined to release additional performance data but the standard model lapped the Nürburgring Nordschleife in 7 minutes and 37.47 seconds. The tuning package takes about two days to install $17,431.
Geigercars call this “The Beast.” The model has a poison green exterior with black accents and 22-inch aluminum wheels that are shod in Toyo Open Country all-terrain tires. The truck also has a push bar, a roll cage, auxiliary lighting units and a lifted suspension.
Interior changes are limited but the model comes nicely equipped with power seats, dual-zone automatic climate control and a MyFord Touch infotainment system. Under the hood, the 6.2-liter V8 engine has been outfitted with a 2.9-liter supercharger which enables it to produce 572 HP and 525 lb-ft of torque – an increase of 155 HP and 90 lb-ft.
The truck is currently on sale and pricing starts at $136,335.
The Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 already puts up some impressive numbers but that hasn’t stopped Geigercars from introducing a new tuning program for the American muscle car.
The Camaro LS9 features a revised grille, racing-inspired tow hooks and 19- / 20-inch Goysar wheels with Michelin Cup tires. The model also has a sports exhaust system, a KW racing suspension and a beefier rear axle.
The supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine has been upgraded with new pistons, upgraded camshafts and a new crankshaft. The company also installs a larger intercooler and optimized cylinder heads. Thanks to these modifications, the engine develops 780 HP and 725 lb-ft of torque. This allows the coupe to accelerate from 0-60 MPH in 3.7 seconds, hit a top speed of 210 mph and run the quarter mile in 11.9 seconds.
