German tuner GAD Motors, has come up with a ECU remap for the M133 two-liter four-cylinder engine for the A45 AMG. The 360 HP the unit delivers when it leaves Affalterbach are accompanied by a peak torque of 332 lb-ft. With the new software, the unit allows the driver to play with 430 HP and 406 lb-ft.
With a 0 to 62 mph sprint of 4.6 seconds, the A45 AMG already entered sportscar territory, but now that time has been cut to 4.1 seconds. As for the 0 to 124 mph run, the ECU remap shaves around 3 seconds, bringing the time to 14.3 seconds.
In order to add a personal touch to the look of the hot hatch, CAD Motors gifted the car with a set of OZ Racing Superforgiata wheels, which come in a 19-inch size and are wrap in Pirelli rubber. The entire package is wrapped in a hue that has “Minty Green”. This is GAD Motors’ Stage One upgrade for the engine, with the tuner explaining there is room for more.
DD Customs has given a new styling program for the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG.
The sports coupe that is in its final days of life and is available as a Final Edition modification has received a stylish body kit. The package includes a new front spoiler, side skirts and a rear bumper with an integrated diffuser. A set of Corniche Sports wheels combined with Michelin Pilot Sport tyres, sized 265/30R20 and 295/25R21 respectively, complete the vision.
Other modification include a custom coilover suspension system from KW and the KW Hydraulic Lift System, offering a brief increase of the vehicle’s ground clearance by up to 40mm at the push of a button. The tuning company says “this makes speed bumps, uneven roads, construction sites and the entrance for underground parking garages less horrifying”.
DD Customs has left the 6.2-liter V8 unit of the car in serial form, except the exhaust system that has been replaced. The car still has 571 HP at 6800 rpm and 479 lb-ft of torque at 4750 rpm under the hood and a 7-speed DCT transmission.
Voltage Design has prepared a tuning package for the Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG Coupe.
It’s hard to imagine an S63 AMG Coupe owner who would be willing to mess around with Mercedes-Benz’s design but Voltage Design has created a styling kit for such a niche. Voltage Design has developed a carbon fiber package encompassing the radiator grille (including Mecedes logo), front spoiler, front apron wings, hood air inlets, mirror caps, side skirts, diffuser and tailgate spoiler. The entire hood and grille can be made from the same lightweight material for an additional cost.
There’s also a considerably upgrade for the V8 5.5-liter twin-turbo lifting power from 585 HP and 664 lb-ft to no less than 800 HP and 848 lb-ft. The extra boost was obtained by fiddling with the engine’s electronics, installing a custom exhaust system with valve command, upgrading the manifold and charge air cooler as well as installing larger turbos.
More power commands better brakes so the S63 AMG Coupe received a larger carbon ceramic system hiding behind Vossen CVT 22-inch alloy wheels while the custom springs can lower the ride height between 10 mm and 35 mm.
Mcchip-dkr have launched an upgrade kit for the Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG.
The main focus of this aftermarket package was on the 4-cylinder 2.0-liter turbocharged engine which in its standard configuration delivers 360 HP and 332 lb-ft of torque. Mcchip-dkr’s stage 1 upgrade bumps output via software optimization to 400 HP and 394 lb-ft. Opt for the stage 2 upgrade which also includes sports catalysts and the power is increased to 420 HP while torque remains the same at 394 lb-ft. The ultimate is the stage 3 upgrade lifting output of the four banger to an impressive 450 HP and 405 lb-ft. This additional power is available courtesy some turbocharger upgrades, aside from the already mentioned software tweaks and sports catalysts. Other changes include KW coilovers and 19-inch mbDesign KV1 wheels wrapped around in 235/35 ZR19 Dunlop Sport Maxx Race tires.
