GeigerCars has introduced a new tuning program for the Chevrolet Camaro Z/28.

Named the Geiger Camaro Z/28, the car has been equipped with a performance package which enables the 7.0-liter V8 engine to produce 620 HP and 534 lb-ft of torque.  That is a increase of 108 HP and 53 lb-ft. The company declined to release additional performance data but the standard model lapped the Nürburgring Nordschleife in 7 minutes and 37.47 seconds.  The tuning package takes about two days to install $17,431.

Dodge Challenger and Jeep Grand Cherokee by O.CT Tuning

O.CT Tuning company has performed several upgrades on the SRT8 versions of the Jeep Grand Cherokee and Dodge Challenger.

Work began on the V8 6.4-liter HEMI engine which in its standard delivers 477 HP and a peak torque of 470 lb-ft. The motor received a custom compressor kit and a charge air cooler system along with a software optimization that have bumped output to 564 HP and 542 lb-ft. Upon request, O.CT Tuning can make additional modifications to increase power over 600 HP.

The Dodge Challenger SRT8 OCTSRT8-700 seen in these images features the same V8 HEMI engine but the client wanted even more muscle so displacement was increased to 7.0 liters which lifted power to no less than 720 HP and 645 lb-ft.

O.CT Tuning is also offering a compressor upgrade for the Dodge Ram 1500 equipped with the V8 5.7-liter HEMI engine.

Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 by Hennessey Performance

Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 by Hennessey Performance

The  stock Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 is powered by a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 at 580 HP. That’s way more than enough HP for some people. Others, however, may feel differently. So when one ZL1 owner wanted to add even more power, there was really only one place to go: Hennessy Performance.  The Texas-based company had a solution for the customer, and that was to add twin-turbochargers to the Camaro ZL1.
After the work was completed, the package  HPE1000 Twin Turbo ZL1 Camaro was good for an insane 1,000 HP.   In the video below, you’ll see it record a 10.6574 quarter-mile time at a speed of 135.38 mph.

Smart car with a V8!

Smart car with a V8!

Stuffing big-block V8 engines into smaller, less-powerful cars is hardly a new concept. But when it comes to the Smart For Two, a car so measly that it has spawned a Smart-tipping craze in California, this video will get your attention. The owner claims to have fitted the car with a mammoth Chevrolet engine, though he or she has provided very few details about the modified car’s spec or performance.  Check out this awesome video!

Dubbed the 1966 Ford Shelby GT350CR, Classic Recreations have fitted a brand new 7.0-liter V8 engine with new ceramic-coated headers and Magnaflow mufflers. Elsewhere, the 1965 Ford Shelby GT350CR features coilover suspension, power steering, beefed up brakes and Goodrich wheels measuring 245/45ZR18 at the front and 275/35ZR18 at the rear.  These tyres are then wrapped in HRE wheels. More specifically, they are the HRE RB2 wheels and when combined with the white and blue paint job of this particular GT350CR, they look simply amazing!

Camaro ZL1 by Geigercars

The Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 already puts up some impressive numbers but that hasn’t stopped Geigercars from introducing a new tuning program for the American muscle car.

The Camaro LS9 features a revised grille, racing-inspired tow hooks and 19- / 20-inch Goysar wheels with Michelin Cup tires. The model also has a sports exhaust system, a KW racing suspension and a beefier rear axle.

The supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine has been upgraded with new pistons, upgraded camshafts and a new crankshaft. The company also installs a larger intercooler and optimized cylinder heads. Thanks to these modifications, the engine develops 780 HP and 725 lb-ft of torque. This allows the coupe to accelerate from 0-60 MPH in 3.7 seconds, hit a top speed of 210 mph and run the quarter mile in 11.9 seconds.
