Alpha-N Performance has released an upgrade package for the Volkswagen Golf R.

The tuner teamed up with Ohlins for a custom Road & Track chassis which was matched with lightweight OZ Racing Ultraleggera HLT alloys featuring a race gold finish. Other changes included in the kit are a stainless steel exhaust system, sports air filter system and an EVOX chip tuning box.

The result of these changes, are the Volkswagen Golf VI R’s 2.0-liter turbocharged engine outputs 330 HP , representing a 60 HP bump compared to the standard model. Power is sent to all four wheels through a DSG transmission which should enable the car to be quicker in the 0-62 mph run than the stock model which was  5.5 seconds.
