Sorry haven’t been posting lately. Working on a new project stay tune. =)
German tuner GAD Motors, has come up with a ECU remap for the M133 two-liter four-cylinder engine for the A45 AMG. The 360 HP the unit delivers when it leaves Affalterbach are accompanied by a peak torque of 332 lb-ft. With the new software, the unit allows the driver to play with 430 HP and 406 lb-ft.
With a 0 to 62 mph sprint of 4.6 seconds, the A45 AMG already entered sportscar territory, but now that time has been cut to 4.1 seconds. As for the 0 to 124 mph run, the ECU remap shaves around 3 seconds, bringing the time to 14.3 seconds.
In order to add a personal touch to the look of the hot hatch, CAD Motors gifted the car with a set of OZ Racing Superforgiata wheels, which come in a 19-inch size and are wrap in Pirelli rubber. The entire package is wrapped in a hue that has “Minty Green”. This is GAD Motors’ Stage One upgrade for the engine, with the tuner explaining there is room for more.
GeigerCars has introduced a new tuning program for the Chevrolet Camaro Z/28.
Named the Geiger Camaro Z/28, the car has been equipped with a performance package which enables the 7.0-liter V8 engine to produce 620 HP and 534 lb-ft of torque. That is a increase of 108 HP and 53 lb-ft. The company declined to release additional performance data but the standard model lapped the Nürburgring Nordschleife in 7 minutes and 37.47 seconds. The tuning package takes about two days to install $17,431.
The McLaren 650S is only in its infancy and already, the crew at PUR Wheels have got their hands on a stunning white Spider and strap on a set of their custom aftermarket wheels. The wheels you’re looking at are the PUR 5IVE’s and they feature a unique and rarely seen dual three-spoke design. They are finished in gloss black and are 19×8.5 in the front as well as 20×11 in the back.
BBR has introduced their new Super 200 package for the Mazda MX-5.
Design for 2005-2014 models equipped with a naturally-aspirated 2.0-liter engine, the package includes a high-flow air filter, a stainless steel exhaust manifold, high performance camshafts and an optimized ECU. The engine develops 201 HP and 166 lb-ft of torque – an increase of 43 bhp and 19 lb-ft with these modifications.
According to BBR’s Neil McKay, “BBR knows that the Mazda MX-5 owners community is a broad church and not everyone wanted the supercar style performance of our highly successful turbocharged upgrades. Therefore we decided to develop a package that built upon our entry level Super 175 and 180 upgrades by incorporating exclusive BBR hardware and further electronic development to deliver the first genuine 200 HP normally aspirated conversion to an eager Mazda performance aftermarket, whilst being designed for everyday use and offering exceptional value for money.”
The Lamborghini Aventador is one of the most aggressive and stealthy-looking cars on the market. However, tuners around the world haven’t been dissuaded by this with a host of aftermarket bodykits and wings being offered for the range-topping Lamborghini supercar. Japanese tuner Liberty Walk, has given us a preview of their widebody kit for the Aventador set to debut at the SEMA Show 2014.
The images show here, the Liberty Walk Lamborghini Aventador will feature similar styling to Liberty Walk’s Murcielago. As a result, riveted and flared wheel arches will feature prominently as will a brand new front bumper and splitter. The car will also feature more pronounced side skirts as well as a lowered suspension and massive wheels complete with Toyo Tires. In the rear, the Liberty Walk Lamborghini Aventador will utilise an absolutely massive racing-inspired rear wing more suited to the now-defunct FIA GT1 World Championship than road use! With that said, we wouldn’t expect anything less from Liberty Walk. Elsewhere, a new rear diffuser is featured alongside a modified exhaust. It is possibly that Liberty Walk will collaborate with Armytrix for a special exhaust system for its widebody Aventador.
